As you learn hypnosis, an unconscious response from your subject is usually an indication that you have achieved the initial step without any hitches. You have successfully used the recommended senses to draw attention to unconscious things and this in turn brings them to the conscious. You have use words like notice, feel, hear and see to draw attention to things that are already in existence but the listener was not consciously aware of this. The second step of this induction is to add conjunctions to your statements then words that will require action, this would be a suggestion to do something. Through this you have already started a process of relaxation for your subject. The next step will be to repeat steps one and two. Here you need to be sure to keep your statements about how their hand may feel or comment on their breathing. At the end of the statements you will attach a suggestion just like you did the first time. In this step your aim to learn hypnosis is to take it a little further, you will take the suggestion just one step higher into whatever state of relaxation you used in the original set of statements.
