Three Simple Lifestyle Modifications For Weight Loss
Losing weight doesn’t have to be a constant battle for you. There are simple changes you can make to your current eating habits and diet that will have an immediate effect on how much weight you gain or lose. By implementing a few of these simple changes you can literally start dropping 2-3 pounds a week. 6-8 Glasses of Water
You’ve probably heard this before, drink at least 6 glasses of water a day, well it’s true most of us drink soda, milk, juice, but not enough water. The fact is if you’re not getting enough water then you’re holding onto extra water in your body because it’s not sure if it’s going to get the water it needs to replenish what it loses. Drink 6-8 glasses of water a day and within a couple of weeks you’ll see a few pounds falling off just from water weight.
More Meals Less Food
Making this change to your routine will change how fast your metabolism burns the calories you are eating. If you’re eating 4-5 smaller meals then your natural metabolism will be sped up. What does this mean work weight loss? Well the food you eat won’t hang around you as long, and have less chance of becoming fat. Note, this is not an invite to eat more calories, just a different way to eat the same number each day but spread out more evenly.
Mix up the Food Types you Eat
Avoid eating the same thing each day for each meal. Rotate between eating carbohydrates, vegetables, proteins etc. This doesn’t let your body program a routine for how it metabolizes the calories and keeps it on it’s toes to burn off calories fast since it’s always changing.
