The subject of pheromones in humans became a passion for many researchers as far back as 1959.

The fact that human behavior could be influenced by an invisible chemical substance was almost the stuff of science fiction but there is strong evidence now that pheromones can actually be linked to both the behavioral aspects of humans and the attraction process.

For a long time it was known pheromones played a huge role in the animal and insect worlds but it seems pheromones for humans are just as real. For example, the relationship between a mother and child is a special one and studies indicate that the special bond between them can be related to pheromone influence.

Just think for a moment the bond you have with your mother. This stems all the way back to the nursing process where a child is almost instinctively attracted to it’s mother through smell and texture. And the interesting aspect is, this attachment never really disappears.

Is this because of pheromones? This is certainly the case in the animal world and this is what led many scientists with an interest in the subject to suspect that if animals we’re influenced in this way through pheromones then why wouldn’t the same be true in humans.

Pheromones In Humans/The Human Pheromones Link

Aside from the studies conducted on the relationships between mother and child, there have been studies conducted regarding the effects of pheromones for humans when it comes to attracting the opposite sex.

Although there has been much criticism regarding this matter and how it is not acceptable to some people that attraction between a male and female human being could be reduced to a simple interplay between the pheromones in humans, several scientists have made some discoveries in this area.

According to some studies, pheromones in humans play a big role when it comes to facilitating attraction.

In most instances, the effect of pheromones in humans is termed as the X factor which makes some people more appealing to certain groups of people. Scientist believes that like the insects which send out genetic coding when they excrete pheromones to attract their mate, pheromones in humans may also contain some kind of genetic coding which may be easier to decipher by certain types of people.

So what does this all mean? The problem with the pheromones for humans issue is that while research and studies almost conclude they do play a role in our interaction with each other, nothing concrete has yet to be established. In other words, debate still rages between the believers and non-believers.

Yet despite this debate, the burgeoning pheromones products market continues to flourish with products slated to contain pheromones to help in the attraction process, available all over the internet.
