<p>There are two main objectives that people are armed with as they head towards the gym&#8211; they either want to trim off excess weight, or pack on huge muscles. If you want to lose some pounds and tone up your body, then go on a low calorie diet and aim for high cardiovascular workouts. However, to build bigger muscle you will have to do the opposite. Load up on the calories and brace yourself for intense weight training exercises that will surely get you a massive physique.</p>
<p>Let us concentrate on the latter group of people for this particular article. If this is you, one of the first things you need to do is to amp up your body mass. Experienced trainers suggest a high intensity workout of 45 to 75 minutes. This means that you have to do your cardio on certain days and only minimally. A maximum of 90 second break between sets will help capitalize your training sessions.</p>
<p>There are many new exercise equipment and drills out there but the simplest ones are usually the most effective. For legs, you can never go wrong with squats. Change up the positions in executing squats and you can target the different sections of your leg area. Supplement these drills with calf raises and lunges.</p>
<p>The bench press is the classic chest exercise for men. You can alter it by changing up the angle to incline and decline regularly which will do your body well. There are some people who think there are better ways to build up one&#8217;s chest by performing dumbbell flyes and pullovers instead of bench press. There really is no right or wrong answer, do what your body responds well to as long as your body is constantly challenged and pushed beyond its comfort zone. Accomplish this by continually increasing weights and varying your reps and sets.</p>
<p>Big arms are best serviced by bench dips and barbell curls. As you go further in your training, periodically add on to the weight load you are lifting. Wait and see the difference this will make. Your arms will feel the burn and even outside of training, expect soreness to set in. If they are still painful when you go back to the gym, do not exercise. Rest them instead.</p>
<p>Use pull-ups to exercise your back and military press (sitting and standing) to beef up your shoulders. There are a number of back and shoulder drills which you should also use but these are some of the most effective by far. Modify your workouts every two to six weeks because your body needs to be pushed to its endurance limits for your weight training exercises to work.</p>
<p>Because your goal is to gain weight and add on to your body mass, heavy cardiovascular workouts are not recommended. However, you still have to engage in light aerobic training regularly. Even if your fitness goal is to bulk up, your heart&#8217;s health should take precedence before anything else.</p>
<p>And finally, give your weight training exercises a boost by performing your best every single time. Sure, you can rush through your drills in poor form and lackluster energy but expect corresponding results. Go into it strong. You will not only get to build bigger muscle-you will get the satisfaction of a job well done.</p>

<p>One of the characteristics of people who are successful in losing weight is, they are disciplined.  They do not allow any factors or circumstances to overcome them.  They are strong-willed to resist any temptations that come their way.  They try and succeed in sticking to the rules that they have set themselves.</p>
<p>They are goal-oriented and result-oriented.  They do not just make their goals and then leave them hanging when they get tired or discouraged.  People who are goal oriented and result oriented always achieve their goals even in the most difficult situations they may be in.  They do not get tired easily because they want something done.  They find contentment in meeting their goals.</p>
<p>They are prudent and wise.  They do researches before getting involved in any activity.  They do this in order for them to avoid mistakes or loss resources.  They plan and take their plans seriously.  They think a hundred times before taking any decisions.  They know what to expect and they know where their plans would lead them.</p>
<p>Truly, all these characteristics are amazing and one may find it really difficult to learn to have or to practice.  Life is actually full of challenges that only yourself would know whether to take the challenge or not.  </p>
<p>We make decisions in our everyday existence but there are right and wrong decisions.  It is then up to us to know which one is right and which one is wrong.  If you think that you have these qualities and you wanted to lose weight, then you might as well consider losing weight now.</p>

<p>Warranty &amp; Customer Service: We like to start with the warranty coverage, since this is your long term protection from defects in materials or workmanship. Although, the quality level of massage chairs has increased tremendously, you do get occasional problems. Human touch provides five years of coverage for the frame of the chair. Additionally, there are three years of coverage for both parts and labor. Also, there is in field technical service which is covered for the first ninety days of ownership. This is good coverage and exceeds the warranties of most manufacturers. Service is via a national call center and response times are good. The HT1650 gets a 17 in this category.</p>
<p>Comfort &amp; Ergonomics: It is particularly important for a massage chair to be comfortable and fit your body. You need to be able to relax. The HT 1650 is both a recliner and a massage chair. When not being used as a massage chair, it looks just like a regular leather recliner chair. It has soft, luxurious leather which is a big plus. The layout of the massage recliner and its functions are well designed and thought out. The controller fits in a side pocket, so there is not remote stand. We rate the comfort and ergonomics of the HT 1650 a 19.</p>

You can target either the feet or calves. The air compression massage works by performing a squeeze, hold and release movement. <p>Learning how to jump higher is a great way to be the best at many sports.</p>
<p>Have you ever thought about how great the human body is and how it can adapt to different types of training? It&#8217;s amazing that our bodies will grow and become stronger when they need to. The same holds true with jumping. Our muscles can change so that they are better abled to jump high. With the right training they can get fast twitch muscles that will produce more power. </p>
<p>What are the differences between fast twitch and slow twitch muscle fibers? Well, as you might of guessed one is obviously faster but it also fatigues much faster. You can&#8217;t have your cake and eat it too. </p>
<p>Sprinters on the other hand have what are known as red muscle fibers and they are designed to have power but not to last very long. </p>
<p>The body will never have all of one type but a combination of the two. You do need endurance muscle along with the fast muscle to function. </p>
<p>But you might be wondering how to get more red muscle. This is where your training becomes very important, the way you train affect the muscle you will get. </p>
<p>To get the fast red muscle you need to train in short high powered intervals. To get more white endurance muscle just train doing slower paced movements for longer periods of time. </p>
<p>Plyometrics are exercises that are designed to develop the fast twitch muscles of the legs so that you will be able to jump higher. </p>
<p>The way plyos work is by doing very high intensity jumps that don&#8217;t last very long. Remember you are going for speed and not for endurance. It would defeat the purpose to do hundreds of jumps if you really want each jump to be it&#8217;s highest possible. You need to train just like what you want to accomplish. It is time to stop thinking and hoping that one day you will be able to dunk and get off you butt and do something about it. You can learn to jump higher with the proper training exercises so get to work.</p>

<p>The dry method does not use any fluid injection at all. This method is seldom used today. In wet liposuction, a small amount of fluid, less in volume than the amount of fat to be removed, is injected into the area, super-wet liposuction is a method which the infuscate volume is about the same amount as the volume of fat expected to be removed. This is the preferred technique for high-volume liposuction by many plastic surgeons as it better balances homeostasis and potential fluid overload. Tumescent liposuction is the precursor of wet liposuction. The surgeon injects a solution containing a local anesthetic and vasoconstrictor (often lidocaine and epinephrine respectively) directly into the subcutaneous fat to be removed.</p>

However, there are various ways to cure acne: you can go in for medication from a skin specialist or you can go in for home or natural treatments. </p>
<p>Home remedies are less time consuming, less expensive and have no side effects. However, they do require a little more patience, because certain routines have to be followed rigorously in order to get rid of the problem for good. A natural remedy for acne is just as efficacious as medication. Here are a few natural remedies to cure your acne. <p>Every year around a million people in the US are diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes. Although not usually fatal type 2 diabetes is a serious disease, and can have a major effect on the life of the sufferer. Is there a link between fish oil and diabetes reduction?</p>
<p>The increase in the rate of diabetes in our population has scientists worried. Along with the impact on the lives of the diabetes sufferers and their family there are enormous costs imposed on the health system and the sufferer, often for life. So what can be done to lower the incidence of diabetes in the population?</p>
<p>Certainly there are a range of lifestyle factors which can help with the reduction in diabetes, such as dietary changes, levels of exercise and losing weight. However I normally analyse the benefits of Omega 3 fats, so today I want to look at Omega 3 and diabetes.</p>
<p>There is now clear evidence of a link between fish oil and diabetes showing that taking fish oil supplements can reduce some of the risks associated with diabetes. Fish oil has Omega 3 fats in it, and the main Omega 3 fats the are of benefit are DHA and EPA.</p>
<p>Type 2 diabetes is a condition characterized by high levels of sugar in the blood. The disease causes insulin in the blood to be unable to sufficiently deal with the levels of blood sugar, so these become elevated.</p>
<p>And the insulin is less able to assist with the uptake of the fats into the cells, so levels of fats in the blood rise. People with diabetes tend to have lower levels of HDL (good cholesterol) and higher levels of triglycerides in the blood, and the figures also show that people with type 2 diabetes have a 6 times higher risk of heart attack and a 3 to 8 times higher risk of heart disease than people who do not.</p>
<p>So is there a link between fish oil and diabetes risk reduction? It seems so. Scientists are now finding that increasing omega 3 fish oil and diabetes relief are linked. That taking fish oil lowers the risks associated with diabetes.</p>
<p>So why is there a fish oil and diabetes link? Because there are good polyunsaturated fats in Omega 3 fish oil and studies show that these fats reduce the level of triglycerides in the blood, reduce blood pressure and reduce abnormal heart rhythms, and also improve blood clotting regulation.</p>
<p>A large study on the fish oil diabetes link found that taking one gram of fish oil a day reduced cardiovascular mortality by 30% and the risk of death by heart attack by 45%. Blood pressure is lowered and circulation problems reduced. As the risks of heart problems are way higher for diabetes sufferers this is excellent news indeed.</p>
<p>It seems crystal clear now that taking more Omega 3 fish oil in the diet does lower some of the risks associated with diabetes.</p>
<p>So how to get your fish oil? The AHA recommends 2 fish meals a week, but for some they also recommend limiting the intake of some fish due to the levels of some contaminants in fish, like mercury and PCBs. That&#8217;s scary.</p>
<p>The best way to get the right levels of Omega 3 fats in your diet is by fish oil capsules. The very best ones use fish from the cleanest ocean in the world, the southern ocean, and also use fish that are the highest in DHA, so their Omega 3 supplements are extremely high in DHA. And they don&#8217;t have any contamination, firstly because the fish are pretty clean to begin with, and secondly because they undergo a process known as molecular distillation that renders them so clean that contaminants are undetectable.</p>
<p>So clearly there is good evidence that if you suffer from type 2 diabetes there are reasons to take Omega 3 fish oil supplements daily. You lower your risks from the diabetes, including lowering your risk of sudden death.</p>

<p>The options are simply countless that you can have a hard time finding the right one. There is a possibility that there is no single head louse cure that is the most effective. This is especially since lice are so stubborn and some have even grown so resistant that even the most carefully formulate head louse cure product is not enough.</p>

<p>There are so many weight loss programs out there these days that it&#8217;s easy to become overwhelmed and not know which weight loss program is right for you. Other weight loss programs require you to keep track of points. I don&#8217;t know about you, but anything that involves math tells me it&#8217;s already too complicated for me to follow! And then there&#8217;s exercise. Everybody knows that exercise is good for you. If you&#8217;re like most people, you don&#8217;t have time to spend hours working out in a gym. You most likely barely have time to complete your daily duties as it is. So how does one go about losing weight in our fast-paced society?</p>
<p>The key to permanent weight loss is good old fashioned diet and exercise. But of course, you already know that. The problem is finding the time to eat healthy and work out without it disrupting your current lifestyle too much. You will quickly exhaust yourself if you suddenly begin eating healthy and working out every day if you are not already doing these things. It&#8217;s too much of a shock to the system all at once and you&#8217;re setting yourself up to fail. To start, just incorporate a few small changes into your lifestyle and give yourself time to get used to the changes before adding more. Eventually, eating healthy and exercising will become a permanent lifestyle change and you won&#8217;t spend much time thinking about your weight anymore.</p>
<p>Before diving right into a brand new eating plan, try to make some minor modifications to your current eating habits. If you enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning, try replacing the heavy cream with light cream, and replace the sugar with an artificial sweetener such as Splenda. There are many artificial sweeteners on the market these days. Splenda is one of the only ones derived from sugar itself, so when it&#8217;s mixed with food, it tastes just like sugar. It doesn&#8217;t have any kind of aftertaste that some artificial sweeteners have. It can also be used in baked goods as well.</p>
<p>Another way to slash your caloric intake is to use garlic powder on your foods instead of butter or margarine. Of course, garlic powder won&#8217;t taste so good on your blueberry muffin, so try using a low calorie butter spray such as &#8220;I Can&#8217;t Believe It&#8217;s Not Butter.&#8221; Or, if a dish you are making calls for butter, try adding Butter Buds instead.</p>
<p>Salad dressings can do severe damage to your efforts to reduce calories. A single serving of ranch dressing can add up to 240 calories to your healthy greens. Substitute full-bodied dressings for ones that are low fat or low calorie. If the taste of low fat or low calorie dressing is more than you can stomach, try a simple dressing of olive oil and balsamic vinaigrette instead.</p>
<p>If you eat a lot of ground beef, try substituting ground turkey in your meals. It is lower in fat and still provides a lot of flavor. Do the same for bacon. Switch out your bacon for turkey bacon.</p>
<p>Remove soda from your diet and drink water in its place. If you find that bottled water is too plain for your liking, there are numerous alternatives out there. Try fruit flavored water. Or drink tea (just don&#8217;t add sugar). Crystal Light makes little to-go packages (Crystal Light on the Go) that are designed to be mixed with a single bottle of water. It might take a little adjustment to get used to drinking water instead of soda, but the benefits outweigh any misgivings you might have. Once your body is used to being adequately hydrated, you will lose inches and pounds of water weight that you probably didn&#8217;t even know you were lugging around.</p>
<p>Incorporate your eating changes for six days a week. One the seventh day, eat and drink whatever you&#8217;ve had a craving for during the week.</p>
<p>Once you&#8217;ve given yourself a few weeks to get used to your eating changes, the next step is to slowly begin adding exercise to your daily routine. It doesn&#8217;t have to be much. No need to run out and purchase a gym membership. Simply commit to exercising no more than twenty minutes a day. This can be in the form of taking a walk around the block, or playing ball with your kids. Take the stairs at the office instead of the elevator. Walk around the office parking lot a few times on your lunch break. Park in the far parking lot. Use the treadmill or exercise bike for twenty minutes. Just about everyone has a spare twenty minutes a day. If you have time to watch a half hour television show, you have time to exercise for twenty minutes a day.</p>
<p>Exercise for twenty minutes, six days a week. On the seventh day, congratulate yourself for a job well done. Skip your exercising and eat and drink whatever you want. Have a full-bodied cup of coffee. Eat bacon slathered in butter. Drink a liter of soda. Eat and drink whatever you&#8217;ve been craving all week. You&#8217;ve earned it and it won&#8217;t wreck all the progress you&#8217;ve made.</p>
<p>You didn&#8217;t gain all your weight overnight, so don&#8217;t expect to lose it overnight. By following these simple tips, you will lose weight. And you&#8217;ll barely notice the minor changes you&#8217;ve made to your daily schedule. Since you&#8217;ve lost the weight by making a lifestyle change, you will find that your weight loss is more likely to be permanent.</p>

<p>One of the most popular exercises in the gym, when lifting weights, are those that exercise the chest muscles. These are important, especially if you are trying to lose man boobs. They consist of two main muscles, the pectoralis minor muscle which lies against the rib cage and then on top of this is the bigger pectoralis major. The larger muscle is usually what gives the chest its size and appearance.</p>
<p>The chest muscles are one of the largest muscle groups in the body and are considered, by many to be a positive sign of masculinity. The pectoral muscles are important for giving good upper body strength which is also very important in many sporting areas.</p>
<p>Exercises that work the chest muscles are great because they also work other muscle groups in the body like the triceps and the shoulders. Working the chest muscles, therefore, will not only give you a bigger chest but will also improve the overall shape of the upper body.</p>
<p>Stretching exercises to warm up are vital before doing any of these exercises. Light aerobic work such as rowing on a machine is a good choice. This is a particularly good exercise because it will stretch the muscles of the upper body and also increase the heart rate and increase the flow of blood to the muscles, getting them ready for a workout.</p>
<p>The push up is one of those simple chest exercises that works well. They have the advantage of not requiring any special equipment and can be done quite easily at home. The first step is to lie face down, flat on the floor with your arms about shoulder width apart. Then slowly push your self upwards whilst keeping your body straight and toes on the ground. After reaching the top, slowly lower yourself back down and then repeat again.</p>
<p>If you find this exercise a little difficult at first, an effective trick is to keep your knees in contact with the floor instead of the toes. When you improve you can then progress to the toes. You may find yourself improving rather quickly and in which case to make things a bit harder you can try placing the hands slightly wider than shoulder width. Also when lowering yourself, do it slowly to keep working those chest muscles.</p>
<p>The bench press is a common exercise performed in the gym and is excellent. I would advise to have a partner train with you during this exercise as a safety measure. On the bench you lie flat on your back with a barbel held with both hands at arms length. Then slowly lower the barbel down to the chest and then again slowly, push it back up until the arms are outstretched.</p>
<p>It is vital to not perform any jerky movements or bounce the weights off the chest wall. Doing around three sets of about eight repetitions once to twice a week will soon develop your chest muscles and you will quickly notice a difference.</p>
<p>Whether you are trying to get rid of those man boobs or embarking on a bodybuilding program these are two great exercises to start out with.</p>

<p>I picked up one of those  &#8216;Golfing for Women&#8217; type magazines the other day and got to asking myself where these women actually live, who wear the golf attire shown in women&#8217;s golf magazines? I have never seen women, not even the pros, dressed in such expensive and flamboyant clothing.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s easy to spend lots of money fitting yourself out for golf. What with hats, sunglasses, gloves, shirts, shorts, socks, windbreakers and shoes, the costs add up very quickly, even if you do your shopping  at the sales. Then add in the cost of clubs, balls, bag, cart and fees and you have to play quite often to keep the &#8220;CPU&#8221; (cost per use) down to an acceptable level.</p>
<p>One full-page glossy advertisement showed a beautiful young &#8216;golfing lady&#8217; in very tiny hot-pants (as if that&#8217;s allowed on golfing greens!) that cost nearly $300, a golf shirt at almost $600, a jacket by Ralph Lauren at almost $200 and two-toned Utuser shoes costing $400 plus.</p>
<p>That comes to nearly $1,500! I know that I could never hope to get the CPU on that outfit down to anywhere near an acceptable limit in my lifetime! Don&#8217;t get me wrong - I love clothes and I really love shoes, but could never afford, or even want, golf shoes or pants that cost more than most people&#8217;s weekly wage.</p>
<p>OK, you want comfortable golf  shoes that don&#8217;t look like something your grandmother would have worn, but you can easily find less expensive and still fashionable shoes.</p>
<p>I have bought several really trendy golfing outfits, even though none of them are famous brand names. If I were to total up the cost of all of those articles of clothing, it would not come to the price of a Tse golf shirt. Personally, I would rather have several nice outfits than one that is priced way too much.</p>
<p>If I were to wear a $1,500 set of clothes to play golf in, I would just be too worried about getting it grubby or perspiring in it to play a proper game of golf.</p>

<p>If you&#8217;re still in your bodybuilding &#8220;youth&#8221; and don&#8217;t already have a considerable amount of muscle mass to show for your efforts, I would strongly suggest taking these types of questions and eliminating them from your mind until you do.</p>
<p>What is the reason? Don&#8217;t let trivial matters divert your attention from your immediate and important task.  What is the crucial thing to accomplish at this time? The goal is to place as much muscle and strength on your body as possible.</p>
<p>Don&#8217;t worry about matching your biceps to your triceps, and forget about matching your chest to your back. It&#8217;s simply not worth worrying about these issues until later on, after you&#8217;ve significantly thickened up your entire body.</p>
